  1. That Bloomingdales SUCKS. There mens section is Horrible. I think they just need a better selection. The Lenox Mall Bloomingdales is WAY better and bigger. I honestly think that the Macy's in Lenox is better than the Bloomies in Perimeter. I kinda don't understand why it sucks so, because the Nordrstrom in Perimeter is good. Shouldn't they want to make that Bloomies better so it can compete with that Nordstrom?
  2. Wow. I bet all these stores were suppose to go to streets of buckhead. That kinda sucks in my opinion because arent all the SOB stores supposed to be flagship? SOB is back on track. I bet eventually stores are gonna leave the malls and go to SOB. Can't wait till it opens.
  3. Y'all don't forget that anybody can edit stuff on wikipedia. It probably was the " DOLCE & GABANNA" Person on here.
  4. ESPN zone wasn't all that anyway. They should really consider moving it downtown. Buckhead doesn't seem like the right area. On a brighter note, maybe in a year or two, a flagship Barneys can take a spot right across from sob
  5. The article didn't say those stores were moving into Phipps but in and around the Metro area.
  6. Where are you getting your info from? I've never heard anything about those new stores opening at Phipps. Please don't tell me you are using wikipedia as a source.....
  7. Well, can somebody take a picture of the Belk In Charlotte or compare it to the Macy's at Lenox or something, because it must be 5 times better than the Belk at Phipps. Ive always thought the Macys at Lenox was a great store. Huge 3 level Men's section and a huge handbag section.
  8. According to www.repeatatlanta.com Ermenegildo Zegna, 7 for all mankind, and Faconnable, a French high end designer label, are all opening new boutiques in Lenox.
  9. I thought Judith Leiber was relocating
  10. Valentino is a big deal. There isn't one in San Fransisco. Now if we get Prada, Chanel, CH, too............BIG BIG DEAL I guess all the weight hasn't shifted to SOB
  11. Now if we get a Prada AND Chanel Boutique we will officially be kicked up a knotch.
  12. Yeah, I read somewhere that they are closing some stores. None were in the ATL area though. Do you seriously think they'll make the Macy's at Lenox smaller......I doubt that
  13. I went to the Belk in Phipps and I wasn't impressed. It wasn't so much that is was a sorry department store but I was expecting it to be similar to the Macy's at Lenox. This Belk was just like the Belk in Savannah, which is nice and all but doesn't need to go in Phipps Plaza. It was very cramped and small. It also didn't have a large selection. The mens section at Macy's seemed bigger than the entire Belk(its not, but you get what Im saying.) I think they should have expanded and Remodeled that Belk if they wanted it to be a flagship because I just don't feel like Im in a "flagship" store when Im in that Belk. Especially compared to the Macy's at Lenox. That store gives you that flagship feel, with its size and selection. Maybe the flagship Belk in Charlotte is alot better.
  14. Yeah I believe Bloomingdales is 4 floors too. The Bloomies and Macy's in Lenox are HUGE. I've always been amazed by the size of those department stores. The Macy's mens section alone is spreaded throughout 3 floors and their handbag section is just rediculous There is a second floor below the ladies section in bannana republic.
  15. Bannan Republic is 2 floors And alot of people don't realize this, but Macy's is actually 4 floors
