I have been to most arenas on the east coast. I would say Miami is the nicest I've ever been in with Chicago a close 2nd.

It might be the best part of the trail. Orlando was just ranked 4th (up one spot from last year) on Forbes list of the most wired US cities.

The seal looks amazing. I agree there should be some retail, office space or something. Give people a reason to walk by when the events center is dark.

I moved to escape fall color. I'd rather be at the pool.

But we will need to do something with the land from the current events center. I'm hoping the PAC goes through. Maybe the best thing for the Citrus Bowl is not to go through. Maybe in a few years there will be more money available and we can redo the thing right.

What would they do with it? I know the city is trying to establish a digital village. I was hoping resdiences would be built over there, although I don't know if now is the time.

After they sell the land from the Amway Arena & Bob Carr they might. I don't know too much about urban design but it looks like there's too much surface parking and nothing that would really draw pedestrians over there (especially once the 2 older venues are gone). What can we do?

I know the high school will be opening in the fall.

I'll be shopping there regularly soon. It will be nice to jump in after work for a quick sushi roll. The few times I have been there it seems like there is a steady stream of customers.

I imagine it's the facilities, parking, lack of eateries nearby and possibly the neighborhood.

The South St on ramp is great. It makes living downtown, especially the south end of downtown very convienent(sp). If you are getting on I-4 westbound you can see the events center construction.
