the scariest thing about an industry that is strapped for cash are the items that get overlooked. like the actual maintenance of a plane. as soon as i see duck tape on a plane, i quit flying.

*warning* - tower crane leaning, work halted apparently a call was made to 911 reporting the tower crane was leaning. i did see it for myself and noticed a definite lean to the southeast. work was shut down for the day. wonder if they plan to repair it or just muscle through it.

this is to complete the parking deck on the east side of Fayetteville Street. once that is completed, i imagine they will start on the Charter if approved.

they are beginning to assemble another tower crane. will be interesting how high it goes.

might want to lower that rent some. especially since the tenant knows this is short term.

i believe that they are finishing up the underground parking component up to the surface. this way, whenever they decide what they would like to build there, the foundation will be in place already.

so far away from any of this happening if approved, who knows what kind of shape our economy will be in by then. scary thought

probably in town for the military parade as stated before. will have some neat stuff here it sounds like.

well at least they have allotted $200 mill for the project. that is a substantial amount of money that should be able to make some significant improvements.

that is a pretty road through there, i'm excited to see the finished product

glad to hear there are some signs of actual progress that this golf course is being built. it just seemed to drag on and on. can't wait to tee off there.

where is the golf course, i've been waiting for years. have they actually started construction or planning the eighth kickoff for this thing.

not the most accessible place if you ask me. But once you are on the inside, it is pretty nice.

wow, terminal a looks like something out of the former USSR now for sure compared to that. i might pay a little more to fly out of that terminal just so i don't have to go into terminal a.

where is everyone?

perhaps wal-mart is secretly considering relocating their HQ to the triangle...

the previous owner of this grocery store failed down at the beach where my parents live. this guy doesn't have a good track record with grocery stores. i'm glad to hear that he is out of the picture. this is by no means a way to indicate whether a grocery store will be successful downtown. the location of CCG is terrible. not knocking the peace street area, but you're directly competing with HT in Cameron Village...good luck. if this grocery store opened up DT by Progress Energy, it would succeed w/o question. i hope CCG will succeed in its current location. i think in time, that will end up being a solid location.

i would imagine there is a better chance of seeing a carribbean carrier before a big euro one. the more people move here, the more need for direct flights to carribbean islands is necessary. I recently travelled to the carribbean and had to go through 3 different airports to get to the one that was going to. with the new international checkpoints in the new terminal, i would imagine these airlines starting to come into RDU.
