    My Parisian sister in law called me first thing Wednesday morning to see if the family was ok. The news traveled fast. Also, please don't think i'm a complete dolt (maybe it's the UP in me), but I've caught myself smiling reading articles over the past 24 hours about all of the violence and mayhem; only because many outlets dropped the "NC" after Charlotte.

    With the Time Warner Cable Brand now being phased out by Charter, what do you think the arena's name will become? Charter's cable products are under their "Spectrum" banner. Spectrum Arena has a ring to it or perhaps Charter Center.

    I have to say that I'm really falling in love with the higher density Citisculpt plan. I do prefer Conformity's (specifically the greater presence of retail), but I'm salivating over the "New Brooklyn Avenue" lined with retail. I'm correct that this would be pedestrian only? If done properly, this could be our baby version of Lincoln Street with enough presence on the outside to draw people in, but I doubt it will be mostly apparel. I also like how the retail fronts the park.

    By the way, Charlotte will host her first playoff games in about a decade next Saturday and the following Monday. Also, congrats to the lady cats for winning the title of the most popular dance team in the NBA earlier this week.

    The only thing that gets me is that the drink and snack selection has seemed to diminish drastically in the new store. I wanted one of those grape Dasani waters but they weren't carrying them. Oh well, The store is Awesome! can't wait for the theatre.

    Probably an expansion. They already have two locations a barber school and a women's spa/ salon called "Honey."

    ^well, by looking at the picture on the right side of the 'shopping' section of the website, it looks to me like it will be an epicenter style retail design behind glass panes.

    Yep, and I noticed this morning when I was walking by that their is a, "Coming soon Julies Too" sign in one of the windows in the walkway.

    The website keeps being built piece by piece. There is now a hyperlink that allows you to enter the site (which is pretty much the brochure page). Also, If you go to Little's home page, you'll see that it's pretty much the same as the Trump Charlotte page and the project is listed as coming soon.

    Wow, I'm pretty suprised nobody posted this yet, but Sam Vincent was just fired as head coach of the Bobcats and speculation is that Larry Brown is next in line to take the job. I personally think having a big name coach for the team, as Brown, will have nearly as much of an effect as a superstar player. Despite Brown's transient style, I do believe this will place a more recognizable face to the team and cause more interest. That is if he accepts, which he has briefly alluded to.

    which is the name I originally wanted, with or without 'cable' sounds much better than"arena," but whatever. Like i said, its growing on me.

    I watched their first game on FSN tonight. There was very good coverage and a whole lot of promotion for the new TWC name, which is actually already growing on me. I noticed they already made a few interior changes to the arena such as some TWC signage on the inside I know the rest of the changes will come within the next few months.

    I wonder what they're gonna do with the "Bobcats Arena" signage. I'd like to have one for my apartment...though it's probably the size of my complex.

    I'm glad there is a name, but why not just the 'Time Warner Center' or something. the TWC arena sounds so dumb. just because its an arena doesnt mean they have to use the word "arena." Coorporate types should never have the right to excersise creativity in naming, because they have no originality.

    Although not condo's, car lofts aren't a new idea. I am aware of a project in Miami like this. Don't know if it was just a proposal though or if its being built. theres an english version link on the bottom of the home page.     Thanks a lot! That view would be even better if it extended west a little more so that the baseball stadium was in partial view. Great rendering. thats exactly what I was looking for.
