Does that mean Amazon 3 is a sure thing? So much minutiae involved in these projects it’s hard to tell at what point it’s a sure thing, under construction, or some other status.

So is it starting or not? I keep reading that no contracts are signed yet digging is going on?

Keep in mind when that Signature Tower was being proposed Nashville wasn’t on fire and an “it” city like now. Big projects trickled in once every five years. Now there’s literally dozens of projects being built at any one time. Recession or not I can’t see Nashville slowing that much.

When you say the entire site is a go does that include the 40+ story - 600 foot +|- tower (1,001 Church St. I think it’s called?)

I agree. JW should have been a lot taller.

Is this one stalled or is it just taking awhile to get past the red tape?

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, 40 stories, 542', $400 million
Plasticman replied to markhollin's topic in Nashville
Great picture! Four Seasons is one of the few buildings in your city (or Atlanta lately) that delivered as promised. It is as tall as predicted, it looks just like the rendering, and the design is great! It would be a proud and prominent addition if it were built down here in Atlanta, especially in the Buckhead area..- 1,920 replies

Amazon 3 is the really tall tower next to the new Pinnacle?

So does anyone know how tall Pinnacle will be? As typical the original speculations were well over 500’ but I think also typically it has shrunk a little?

With all this activity what’s the odds this one will happen? And if it happens what’s the odds it’ll shrink like what seems like most projects in Nashville?

Am I wrong to think this one has a good shot of actually happening? And happening at the posted height?

Alcove/900 Church St., 34 stories/418 ft., 356 apts, $160 million

What’s really fun is that there’s two matching buildings going up together. There’s two sites that will look very identical for quite awhile.- 827 replies

This original rendering, while having two towers, is way less impressive than the finished product.- 1,920 replies

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, 40 stories, 542', $400 million
Plasticman replied to markhollin's topic in Nashville
This is my favorite Nashville project in a long time. It did everything it promised. It stayed as tall as planned, it held to the design, it looks even more impressive across the river than the renderings suggested, and it adds a level of seriousness in expanding your skyline way to the left. Now if the lighting scheme holds up you’ll have one of the few new buildings that lived up to expectations and even surpassed them.- 1,920 replies

So does this project appear to stay intact size wise or is it going to be “value sized” like 2nd & Peabody (and most other ambitious projects up there)?

This shot is one of the best I’ve seen. The Four Seasons looks very tall and impressive at this angle.- 1,920 replies

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, 40 stories, 542', $400 million
Plasticman replied to markhollin's topic in Nashville
Four Seasons is actually taller than 505 by nearly twenty feet. Also it is positioned with unobstructed view from across the river such that it stands out way more than 505. Plus all the buildings around it are significantly shorter adding to the appearance. 505 was a missed opportunity as far as I’m concerned. Adding ten floors and bringing it to 700’ would have made it the focal point but instead it’s just mildly eye catching but often lost in skyline.- 1,920 replies
