Great photos of Atlanta's skyline from the interstate, you two (whaddya know, they are good for something after all ). It makes me wish I was back home rather than stuck in Statesboro (no offense intended to my fellow Statesboro forumers ). Keep the great pics a-coming!

I went into Atlanta today myself to try out my new camera. Hopefully, I'll be able to post them soon. However, I leave to go back to college tomorrow (I'm spending the weekend at home), and Georgia Southern's server doesn't allow me to upload to Flickr for some reason, so it may be a while before I can post them.

^It pretty much feels like Spring down here in Statesboro! It's 84 degrees right now! Great picture, Martinman. The area around Grant Park really is beautiful, especially in the Springtime (as is the rest of Atlanta).

I read in GSU's Reflector today that a Books-a-Million is headed to Statesboro something soon. Anyone have any other news of this? If it works out, I certainly will be happy. It will be nice to have a bookstore like that in town.

^ The year I head down to Statesboro is the year the Atlanta area finally gets hit with snow again. I'm jealous Anyways, nice work, Hybrid. It's nice to see some snow up there again.

That's what I got my Dad for Christmas. I listened to some of it myself (I like the Eagles as well), and I quite enjoyed it. They don't sound like they've lost any of their luster after all these years. BTW, NCB, have you seen my Flickr lately? I've uploaded some pics to it over my Christmas break. I can't upload any pics while I'm at GSU (Georgia Southern) because the university's internet system doesn't allow me to upload (I don't think it recognizes the uploading mechanism thingy Flickr uses or something--shows how much I know about computers). Hey Dan326, do you like Pikachu or something? I've seen you use a few pictures of him (her?) as your avatar. Believe it or not, playing Pokemon is one of the things I do to whittle away my time when I'm not in class, studying, or on UrbanPlanet (yes, I realize I'm older than the game's target audience, but hey, I like it nonetheless).

^Richy, I've seen you make some posts advocating a play-off system in college football (I've even responded to one). You'll be interested to know that you have a few allies in high places for a play-off system as well: the USC and Illini coaches Pete Carroll and Ron Zook, respectively, and chair of the NCAA Executive committee UGA President Michael Adams. The President of the NCAA has stated his "neutrality" over the idea. Any thoughts? I'm not exactly an advocate for such a system yet, but I would be interested in seeing what people can come up with. Whatever the case, it's going to be a while before any such system would be instituted. There's a lot of other people in high places thast would have to be convinced as well.

So, I suppose choosing LSU as #1 and UGA as #2 would be vindicated by the method you're talking about. Just out of curiousity, how WV and Mizzou do in the "quality" wins area? Just curious, as they were the #1 and #2 team before they were both defeated in the last week of the season.

Well, guys, congratulations. LSU is the #1 in the final AP poll of the season. My UGA finished second. This means that the SEC has the top 2 teams in college football.
