  1. Things are going pretty good, though I'm actually back home in Douglasville, GA, right now. I go back down to GSU on the 15th of this month. GSU football has a lot of questions on both sides of the ball. There are over 50 freshmen or returning freshmen on the team, so we're very young. However, I am interested to see what becomes of that Ohio State quaterback who transferred here. I'm still looking forward to GSU at UGA. My two favorite schools face off against each other. My parents, friends, and I are working on getting tickets--and chances are pretty good that we will be able to get some. I'm also looking forward to going to some GSU home games (students get in free to all GSU home games). As for UGA, I'm excited about so many games on their schedule, so many potential great games. The LSU game is one of the games that I really am looking forward to the most. Since 1965, UGA has a 6-1 (6 wins, of course) record against the previous year's national champion when they've faced off against each other, but they call it "Death Valley" for a reason.
  2. Hilarious. Ah, thanks! I was kind of thinking it was something like that, but that L typo threw me off.
  3. dazed Maybe I'm dumb, but what's "egressl"?
  4. Hey guys! Long time, no see! I like the look of the new Hornets logo. It looks alittle more modern, and the Fleur de Bee logo is a nice touch that takes advantage of the city's history. I'm interested to see what happens with Shockey and the Saints. He's got talent, no doubt, but his attitude could be a problem. And now I look forward to football season--in college and professional. LSU vs. UGA is going to be huge. Last year's champ versus one of the top favorites for this year's championship!
  5. Hey guys! I don't have any updates, but I would like to say that I had the opportunity to go into Atlanta earlier this month. It's amazing to see how different the skyline there looks from when I started posting here back in May of 2005. It's really interesting to look at photographs I've taken of the area over the years and to see how it's all changed (I'm organizing a thread on it, actually).
  6. This is one from my trip to Jacksonville earlier this month. It's of the reflections of the city's lights into the St. John's River. Watercolor
  7. "Honey, Honey" from the Mamma Mia! movie Soundtrack. Amanda Seyfried (of Mean Girls fame) is the singer.

  9. I stopped by Statesboro for a minute the other day on my way down to Jacksonville Beach. I only had a minute because we had to get back on the road, but I did get a chance to see some of the progress they've made at the Centennial Place area. Mostly what I saw was the ruins of Winburn, Olliff, and Johnson Hall. If I had had more time I would have gone over to it and investigated it more, but it certainly seems like they are making progress. I do pity next year's residents of Watson Hall (both RIGS and Commons). They are going to have to deal with a lot of construction noise, but on the other hand, they will also get to witness first-hand the building of the new dorms.
  10. Have to agree with Lady Celeste. That's a great looking building. Really would add something to the skyline. I can't wait to see what it looks like when all is said and done.
  11. ^Heh, true. An all SEC CWS final would be cool. Georgia's offense has been unstoppable and the bullpen is surprisingly good for a college team. 2008 is going to be a great year for UGA, I'll say that. Arkansas dominating in track and field...I would have never expected that
  12. Hey guys! I've been following the CWS fairly colsely this year since my Dawgs have a good chance to win it. Just think, there could be a match-up of two SEC teams in the championship! LSU and UGA! That would be quite an event.

Hey guys! Long time no see (so to speak)! I was just wondering if any one here has a Facebook or a MySpace page. I was just wondering, because if anyone does, let me know and I'll leave a link to my profile. On a different note, I have repeatedly tried to convince my parents that a New Orleans vacation is long overdue. Unfortunately, my Dad, who grew up along the coast of Mississippi, says that he has been there enough times already from when he was a boy.
  14. Here's one for today: Reflection of the Westin Peachtree Also, I promise that photo thread is coming soon--just as soon as I have the time to put it together!
