    I walk by this building every day… it seems to be taking an extraordinarily long time to complete the exterior. Between the sidewalk closure here and at the Albion, walking along Division is a mess of switching back and forth which side of the street is open.

    It’s great to see a bunch of residential buildings being proposed with fewer parking spaces than they have units. And virtually all of the listed residential buildings have fewer spaces than bedrooms. That will build a constituency to advocate for better transportation in the core.

    Every time I see this building, it’s crazy to me how much above-ground parking they are building given the insane amount we are seeing built underground.

    This sign is outside Albion’s leasing center this week. Seems very contrary to the super-luxury positioning for the building.

    Bike lanes are being added on 6th Ave S. this week, between Division and Oak St/Bass St/Fort Negley Blvd. In the 3-4 blocks, it looks like it will change between single- and double-striped lines. (Don’t mind the electric pole obstructing the middle of the sidewalk)

    Pedestrianizing 1st Ave just has huge potential. Imagine cafes opening up toward the river and a huge linear park along the river. I was disappointed that didn’t seem to be part of the 2nd Ave recovery plan.
