  1. Ok I'm back again, but I am coming with some questions... My first question is can someone potentially tell me about what's coming to 7000 Carnation Street? I have checked the city permit system, and the website of developer but I still haven't anything, and also could someone tell me what's proposed for 7000 Jahnke Rd?
UPDATE: Old Henrico Plaza project continues construction, more cellar nodes are being added to the cell tower, and it some sewer and improvements. Not too far away there seems to be some housing being added along Harris Ave.

I'm also kind of wondering why anyone hasn't snatched up the land behind Rose's gamming yet?

It looks like they're finally breaking ground on the Henrico Plaza development.

I'm hoping this will prompt a bit more development on the Henrico side of Mechanicsville Turnpike, as opposed to the Hanover side.  Right now many people on the north and east of the city are hit with driving pretty far from the city (or to the other side of the city) to get to something like a Publix, Target, Golds/Crunch gym, Best Buy, etc.

I think many of these would be great in the Diamond area, but for the ones that we aren't going to get by with limited parking, it would be nice if they went close to everyone on Mechanicsville Turnpike near the city.  It is super close to Church Hill, Shockoe, Highland/Brookland Park, etc.

This reminds me I have a picture of this.  I can capture more today.

Hello @Child2021!!  Welcome to the forum and our lively community! So glad you've joined us. Here's hoping that now that you've tested the water, you'll be a regular.

Thanks for sharing and posting the data. Very interesting information. Much like @eandslee , @whw53, and @123fakestreetmentioned: I'm also curious about the sourcing for the RVA downtown data and if what is considered "downtown"| by that data source may be different from what we traditionally consider to be the normal boundaries of downtown (Belvidere Street on the west, I-95/64 on the north and east and the river on the south). As @123fakestreetnoted, RVA planners noted that the most recent data available in the Richmond 300 Plan show that about 8,000 residents currently live in downtown RVA -- about 21K fewer people than the City Data forum numbers show. I'd love to know more as to how/where those numbers were sourced and how downtown is defined.

According the post, it's boundary from Manchester to Jackson Ward from North to South, and the Fan to Shockoe Slip/Bottom area. Here's the map.
