Here's an update on the next phase of Camp North End's food options on Keswick. The owner of the future donut shop said she's been told completion is expected in August.
Passing by the existing food stalls and crossing the tracks, here's the current view:
There's stairs leading to the roof and it looks like a small building being built up there. Underneath the overhang, the stalls/restaurants are coming together and they're working on a Quonset hut. Here's a closer view:
Here's the hut from the other end:
The sides of the hut are aligned with the edge of the roadway which makes it feel a bit closed in. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.
Turning right after this area, the area at the corner is progressing. I believe this is the new larger space Hex Coffee will be moving into. Looks like a great upgrade from their current space.
Along Camp Road heading to the north, they've installed new poles, seemingly fabricated from reclaimed iron from the site. Unclear what their purpose is, my guess is street lighting. There's a sign on the utility poles located in the sidewalk saying that those poles will be removed as soon as Duke can hook up the new poles (located on the street side of the sidewalk).
Hope you guys enjoy the tour, let me know if there's something else on the site you want to see and I'll try to get a photo for you.
