They're two separate developments by different companies. One doesn't have to wait for the other.

Let's hope the grown man who watches way too many kids movies doesn't start deleting posts because of his tendency to get overly emotional.

Folks if this ain't a political attack........ Will the moderators allow it? We'll see if he/they have the ability to separate from the emotion he/they have from his/their side in the political spectrum. We'll see if there is competence or incompetence.

You act like this is a surprise. Don't you know job loses occur when various places have lockdowns? American exceptionalism beats living under communism.

It beats moaning and groaning about a building everyday of the year. At least sports fans take a few breaks during the offseason.

People aren't watching the ingrates. You can protest that all you want.
-
People are done with sports. Bringing in politics has cost the leagues fans and viewers. You can forget about MLB and NBA coming here. Few people here will support those ingrates. The leagues are going to be struggling to get back the fans and viewers they've lost for years or decades to come. Forget about expansion.

Anyone who's not a stick in the mud grouch.

I don't know why anyone would complain about having under normal circumstances (non pandemic) a tourist magnet like Broadway. New York, New Orleans, Miami, Las Vegas, all have their entertainment districts that flourish under normal circumstances. Would you prefer Nashville to have a ghost town attraction like the Epicenter in Charlotte?

That's a no-brainer. People would rather travel to Nashville to see a baseball game 100x more than to Charlotte, NC.

With few exceptions baseball stadiums are not sold out each game. Baseball teams make part of their revenue by the accumulation of fans attending over the course of 82 home games. And to those who say Nashville doesn't need this. Nobody is forcing you to go to any games.
