Would like to see more than just restaurants and bars...I don't drink alcohol, and if I have already eaten dinner then there is near 0 reason for me to be out and about in DTR or MTR -

I'm sure it actually will happen, I'm really just teasin'. Lots of these ambitious projects move very slowly or get cancelled. -

Last I saw was the article from TBJ that they were purchased by FCP development group, and they were looking to rezone to 20 stories. Agree though, quite an eyesore: It's so visible from the beltline and so close to the other devs. I turn this exact scene around 180° and we get: With another large development in that red circle- looks to be about 12-15 stories right now, but I haven't counted. Then when you keep in mind Atlas Stark also bought several properties on Computer Drive pretty much right at this spot on the other side of the beltline....man, this is going to be quite a scene in a few years! So very different. What a change:

I love the way it looks on that stretch. I've noticed that when traveling on I-440 EB approaching Wake Forest Rd (Exit 10) that the new tower (currently under construction) at the Midtown Exchange site is quite visible from the beltline. I'd REALLY love to see the same type of modern, high rise towers on the other side of the beltline in that same area. The Triangle doesn't really have an area where you're surrounded by high rises on both sides of the highway, and personally that's an aesthetic I absolutely love. I'm really excited to see how the view continues to change as those apartments on Navaho get demolished and replaced. That's a very visible piece of property.

A few cruddy pictures of HubRTP construction site. I'm getting a drone soon, I'll make sure I'm allowed first but I'm going to try and take a few aerial shots one of these days. -

This is the Triangle. They demo'd the Ford dealership, it will now remain a vacant parking lot for ~18-36 months and after that we might get an update saying construction will start in another 18 months. -
Yooo I cannot unsee this

My wife took these last night. I know the pics are very low quality, but I just love the way NH looks at night from 440. Looks downright urban. -

I haven't looked at the layout/plans in a long time- will there not be any access via Wake Forest Road? It might be a little too far back, and that fugly outdated Hilton might be in the way. One could also get there from Navaho to Benson. They do seem ready to restripe St Albans to 4 lanes though.
