  1. Thats 1 tree.. Lake Eola has plenty of trees! They're not trying to strip the city of all its trees. I guess you've lived downtown over 50 years then!
  2. Spenser I respect your own personal opinions, but you probably need to be living, working and playing in a rural area of these metropolitan!
  3. We will agree with you if the Zoi is only 5 stories but it's not! It's 39 stories and that warrants justification for needing to remove the tree, even if it sucks to do it.
  4. Are we trying to save the tree and not build a 400 footer which is badly needed to keep progressing as a growing metropolis with charm and not end up like Cleveland or are you guys proposing that we can find a way to have them both?
  5. Yeah I shook my head in disbelief when I read that! Just simply for the fact that we want to be a big time city but have a small time city mentality
  6. Like seriously, what's up with this visor epidemic? It's growing quite annoying!
  7. Maybe so but it fills a great need of density! Personally it looks just fine. Since moving from Pittsburgh 10 years ago, I've learned to temper my expectations for downtown and give it time to become more vertical with more creativity, not just with boxes and visors!
  8. Some shots I forgot to post during the July 4th celebration!
  9. I think you choose density over 1 single building that's only 25 to 28 stories any day!
  10. New construction that's over 300 feet would further balance out the height disparity that the CBD side on Orange has over the mid rises built along the 408 corridor! Ive been here less than 10 years so from an outsider's point of view, a downtown with tall scrapers built along both major highways gives off more of a true metropolis feel and look Imo!
