A welcome replacement to Gringos. But Chicora Alley is getting almost as bad with loud and obnoxious drunks.

Buses do not solve the I-85 issue.....that is going to be a complex solution if one exists

Given the price paid for the land, one would think the developers would press for height and density for financial reasons.

I’ve never been shy about spending on food and drink, but holy cow the Larkins menu prices are aggressive. $60 for sea bass? $30 salads. Coral was too full to get in but Larkins was empty. Now I know why.

Malls everywhere are struggling. Retail has evolved into smaller boutique stores and online shopping. I suspect County Square will get a mix of nice boutique shops just like downtown has.

This will likely be a nice addition but having two new restaurants in town both named 'Perch' is not ideal.

Love this design....hate how the existing building next door detracts significantly.

The parking lot at the corner of River and Rhett (across from The Link) is constantly just choked with weeds. It looks awful in an area where every other property is well landscaped and maintained. I think that is owned by Hughes, one of the wealthiest families in town. Shouldn't the city enforce better maintenance?

Roads. Roads. Roads. Our road infrastructure is a $&@# show.

https://gvltoday.6amcity.com/trueline-music-venue-greenville-sc. If this project requires Crowdfunding of $10m, then I would wager it never happens.

A friend of mine heard Husk has been leased but did not know by whom. Anyone have any intel? Bueller?

Is the residential all apartments or is there any condo component?

Exterior siding still unfinished. Sigh.

I appreciate that explanation .....but I still am not a fan of the decision. Painted brick would have been MUCH BETTER aesthetically.

For the life of me, I don’t understand why the Army Navy store redevelopment didn’t repoint and paint the brick exterior. The new bland stucco makes me sad.
-
90% of the budget should be road paving

I’m still a bit surprised that the Husk space remains vacant. Also surprised by how minimal and generic the Army Navy building renovations seem.

The Homewood Suites never seems packed. Maybe demand is lacking

Or one could use this broad feedback to ensure we don’t repeat mistakes of the past

I also saw that. Over 280 comments crucified this project.

Dumb question probably but what is going on the large site directly behind Deca

I saw that.....I assumed for Artisphere?

In the spirit of being an equal opportunity “hater” I would just like the say the First Presbyterian addition along Academy is another big miss. As an aficionado of quality design and construction it pains me to drive by that heinous box of cheap synthetic stucco and whatever that god awful bronze colored “stuff” is. Lots of amazing new projects underway in Greenville. Hopefully our excellent leadership can avoid more of these two examples of unacceptable standards.

The city should buy this site and use the extra area to construct a traffic circle to make that intersection flow better.

Well not everyone is the genius that you are. Now go back to obsessing over tower cranes.
