  1. I had to drop off my daughter this morning for her return flight home and that was the first time I was routed through the new way around and behind the garage. You still go straight through the intersection to access the garages, but veer right for arrival and departure lanes.

  2. I have no clue as to the facts that drive the investment decisions behind this or other developments. So I won't be arrogant enough to tell others how to deploy their capital. I commented on two things that have an impact broadly on Greenville.....which is we do not like to see vacant buildings or ugly buildings....and this qualifies as both. In a perfect world, the developer finds a way to solve for both conditions.

  3. I don't think anyone is being a "queen". The building is simply ugly and devoid of ANY architectural appeal. Being clad in the ugliest possible brick (aka baby poop brown) does not help either. Only an architect and contractor could define whether meaningful exterior retrofit could be achieved for a feasible sum. And someone else made the point that the older existing high-rise buildings share a common trait in ugly architecture. While true, that does not mean we should not aspire to beautiful  architecture; hence the proposal to revamp the current City Hall exterior.
