Well those 350 new parking spaces are for cars and residents that will add to the traffic. Ingress and Egress might be very tricky in that location.

When the Hyatt on North Main was built, it too was a pioneer. Let's hope these project stimulate widespread redevelopment tying West End into West Greenville along Pendleton.

I had VERY high hopes for Bellwether since Urban Wren is outstanding. But honestly it is just meh.

I just walked through Unity Park and each time I do I can't help but question the design choices. The decision to actually build Unity Park and repurpose a woefully underutilized site was brilliant. But once given a blank canvas, they delivered a very vanilla canvas. A missed opportunity thus far.

I see they are tearing down and replacing the brick veneer on the townhouses on Rhett. That is costing someone a pretty penny. Ouch.

Greenville is not lacking for restaurants, but what a shame that Mary's Cottage has sat vacant for YEARS. Such a unique experience while it was in operation.

Is SCDOT incompetent, corrupt, or some combination? Have they ever set an actual deadline to complete a road project, or is the contractor greasing someone's palms to have a perpetual project?

Driving to Charlotte. Miles and miles of the center section of 85 still under construction after a decade and NOBODY IS EVEN WORKING! Maddening.

I can't fathom how the city isn't insistent that this be annexed. I know it is not quite adjacent but it's not far from the current city limits. There has to be a way to get this into the city limits; whether through finger annexation or something else. It would be an enormous miss on many fronts, and would probably be harder to do later after the development and residential.

New Realm Brewing has not built any of the outdoor features shown on original application. Just grass. Are those delayed or eliminated?

I think The Lounge owners also have The Bougie Lounge next to Lululemon? Really not sure how that one stays open when every time I walk past it there are zero to a handful of customers.

I would love to see this succeed wildly with creative land use and architecture. I am sympathetic to gentrification concerns....but the answer is not to leave a blighted area alone to preserve dirt cheap housing.

I think it was posted sometime in the past, but what is going in the remaining space at the Doubletree across from the baseball stadium? I see that is under construction. And New Realm is getting close. A 'Now Hiring' sign is up.

The flaw in this project was trying to do residential condos on a site too small to handle parking effectively.

Non-box architecture is dramatically more costly and probably will not drive a corresponding increased ROI. Building a single family house is no different....every time the foundation and roof change direction, pitch, etc the cost goes up.
