Ok I'm trying to picture this. this description makes it sound similar to Hearst Plaza. Am I on the right track in my visualization?

I know about the Chinese media, me and 2 of my friends were walking past EpiCenter and got stopped by a Chinese reporter and her film crew. We got asked about how we feel about the game and our favorite player. I have no idea what news service it was she told us but we didn't hear her and we couldn't find it with our limited knowledge of Chinese sports writing.

Wait these population densities don't make sense even according to the data given. Cary with a larger area and a smaller pop than Greensboro should not also have higher density than it, ditto on a few of the other cities

With security checks and all to ight the light rail was in complete disarray. Two trains at UNCC went out of service for 30+ minutes to "wait on the checks being set up" at 4. Then at 8 waited 25 minutes for a train after just missing one at 7th. Charlotte was not ready for this transportation-wise

Idk about NY but ATL is horrible, last time I was there driving from a hospital to Texas Roadhouse that usually takes 15 min took 45 min at 8pm on a Thurday night (wouldn't expect this to be a busy time)

What is the point of that? It looks worse and makes the project feel incomplete. Tear it all down and restart if this is the case

@KJHburg when they do redevelop "the bunker" I hope they keep the globe and plaza on the corner of Mint and Stonewall, that's one of my favorite little places in uptown

Just these projects mentioned in the article are estimated at a combined $650.6 million dollars and that's just for the buildings planned and not already being built or finished up. But keep in mind this is also a 20ish year plan according to the article and things may be added or removed to this as our student body continues to evolve

We already have a better skyline than at least 3 of the top 10 biggest US cities; Phoenix, San Jose, and San Antonio, which I consider a win since we are only the 17th or 16th largest depending on your source

I for one am excited for the design of the library the architect Snøhetta has made some really cool libraries such as the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt and the James B Hunt Jr library at NC State and other cool things like the Oslo Opera House. The Hunt library for one is one of the coolest buildings in general I've ever been in.
