  15. Governor Youngkin has been doing a lot of damage in Virginia. He recently vetoed a gradual increase of the minimum wage to $15/hr by 2026, vetoed an assault weapon ban and vetoed recreational marijuana sales (marijuana is already legal in Virginia, but selling it is currently not legal).
  16. I would agree with you, but ballot measures in Florida need 60% to pass. 50% seems like a slam dunk for marijuana legalization in Florida, but 60% will be tough.

  19. Imagine. Florida may soon legalize recreational marijuana and have a $15/hr minimum wage. Very progressive for the deep south. lol Now to do something about Florida's lax gun laws. I think universal background checks could pass on a ballot measure. Universal background checks have bipartisan support among voters.
