Is this in reference to the redevelopment of Chesapeake Square? Also, speaking of Chesapeake Square area, tons of site work going on right now off Portsmouth Blvd. I am not sure of the projects name but I believe it is a mix of condos and single family homes in addition to a possible brewery near the giant live oak tree. Just what I have heard....

WOW! This looks epic! Reminds me a bit of Waterside. I REALLY like the "train sign" idea, very unique. I know my family and I would frequent a place like this if it come to fruition.

Any idea on when they plan to break ground? If it happens in next 6 months or so we could potentially have 4 highrises/midrises going up simultaneously?! BOOM

Been to Charlotte recently?? There must be at least 4-5 towers being constructed as we speak!!! All 25-30 + floors!!!

If you look at the bottom of the structure, it seems to jut out into the water. Is it just me or does it resemble a ship? I feel like that was done purposefully as a nod to Norfolk's nautical heritage.

Both shot with my Bugs 3 drone carrying a GoPro Hero 3. Check that. I actually used my cheaper Lightdow 4000 cam. Not quite as clear as my GoPro

Just got back from Waterside as well. I really liked the place! Great open floor concept with fantastic design and decor. Had a beer at PBR (which is inside Guy's) and a beer at Blue Moon. They are still working out kinks as expected but for a soft opening it seemed to going quite well!

"Brewery we'll recognized by Virginians"...so are we talking a VA brewery or national brewery we have all heard of? If it is a Va brewery I'm going to go with Devils Backbone. If national, I have no idea. What do y'all think?
