Hey, Ron….how was your trip to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Columbus? Want to grab lunch soon so I can hear your observations? I am pretty flexible from tomorrow (Saturday May 28) through all of next week.

NPT looks forward to seeing you this evening at the Transportation Town Hall taping. We want to hear your thoughts and questions about the future of transit in middle Tennessee. It promises to be a lively and thought-provoking discussion, so you don't want to miss it. The town hall will be broadcast on NPT on April 14.
There will be hors d'oeuvres at 6 pm and an opportunity to view 3 possible scenarios for the future of transportation locally and regionally before the taping begins at 6:30 pm.
Please park and enter either by the side door (recessed), or the front door by the flag pole. You do not need to bring your ticket.
Transit Now has arranged for an afterparty at Smokin Thighs beginning at 8 pm, so that is an exciting opportunity to continue the conversation.

I may have some time on Saturday afternoon to drive/walk around a bit if you're still up for that. I think best would be anywhere between noon-3 PM. Could also do Sunday about the same timeframe.

If you want, we could meet somewhere for lunch first. Do you like Thai? Ever been to Thai Phooket near Nissan Stadium? I scurry around downtown and Midtown quite a bit…but enjoy revisiting places. Was thinking about a quick look at the Top Golf site on the East Bank, and also heading over to Lake Palmer to see if it truly has been drained. But really flexible to whatever you're interested in.

Hey, Ron. Don't know if you saw this editorial in the Tennessean this morning that was written by Steve Bland, the head of the MTA. It is challenging people to take part in the 4 upcoming public meetings to get more input regarding the overall plans. One of the meetings is Sat. April 2, 9 to 10:30 AM at OneCity. I thought that might be interesting for our Forum Meet-up. Would be a good chance to not only learn more/weigh-in on the transit plan, but also to see all the construction at OneCity. What do you think?
