  1. Wow I can't believe I didn't know about this. I think I'm glad it's gone!
  2. From a reliable source: Gresham is relocating to this building. Did we already know this? Hopefully this means they will show out with the design of the building.
  3. Looks like Lipscomb is planning to continue it's expansion to Grandview. The university president said in an address earlier this year that new dorms and parking were in the pipeline and this would seem to align with that promise. This "1-5 year" master plan and rendering were displayed on campus today.
  4. We sat in the outfield on Friday night and had a great time. Although I had hoped for a brick-clad throwback I was very impressed with what we got. I'm excited to watch that area grow with the State Museum hopefully getting funded and all the residential in the pipeline. I still couldn't figure out the greenway/fence/gate situation which I think might be a bad sign. I'll be really frustrated if they fumble the part of the design I thought made this park so cool. Also grateful they decided against that ugly burnt orange logo color (remember that?)
  5. I guess this is where I should post this. Had a meeting today at Nashville State and snapped a few pics of the progress on the new academic building. It's very imposing on campus - great addition. View from inside existing student center looking onto the newly formed quad View from rear parking lot into a mini "canyon" that formed between the existing student center and the new structure North facade West facade
  6. I've been in a funk all day thinking about the loss of these buildings.
  7. The rectangular tower will run parallel to 8th and it will be on the back portion of the base.
  8. I agree - I don't hate it. It will pair nicely with the Turnberry project (assuming that happens) and create a nice cluster of towers at that end of the mcc.
  9. Found this online. I haven't seen this particular rendering before so I thought I'd share.
