Just left the mall. A&F and Hollister are closed. Plastic is up over the windows. Not sure if they are permanently closed or just remodeling. There is a sign on the doors showing a website where you can find other locations. Edit: Hollister actually has a hand written sign saying it was their last day.

A lot of work going on at the Sterling Building. Are there still plans for it to include a brewery?

Anyone ever hear any talk of an actual Hilton coming back to the market? Wish they would put one downtown.

Looks like the David's burgers is finally being done in the food court area. Fencing is up on the outside patio area between it and the police station and they are tearing up the concrete. The fencing has a new David's burgers sign on it. I didn't know they planned to do any renovating to the outside patio area.

I remember that. I think it was where the El Porton is now.

Blue Canoes expansion next door will include a restaurant called Taco Beer Burrito. Expected opening in early spring. No mention of Blue Sail in the Facebook post. Wonder if that is still happening.

I was at the outlet yesterday. Saw signs up for Lucky and New Balance that weren't there the last time I was there.

Brooks Brothers is a great addition. Hopefully that is a sign of more higher end stores to come.

Isn't the southeast corner where they just built the parking deck for the Homewood Suites? And the southwest corner is the bus terminal. The northwest corner is the one story row of offices. Is that where it is going?

There is an outlet in Asheville opening next week by the same development company and is the same estimated size and number of stores. They have 53 of 75 spots filled. Just saw today that there is now a brew bus that drops off at Diamond Bear Brewery, DamGoode Pies, Lost Forty Brewery, Blue Canoe Brewery, Stone's Throw Brewery, Vino's, Flying Saucer (cause they have lots on tap) and Rock Town Distillery. Sounds like they will have some more locations to add in the future.

Wonder if that means a Gap and Banana Republic are soon to follow.

I agree. Terrible location. I live in Maumelle and I had no idea we even had a Sky Zone until I heard that it was closing. Should have located it near the Jump Zone and ball fields. I'm sure the land was more expensive there though.

Wasn't sure what topic to put this under but there looks to be some action at the 40/430 interchange in the median. Some barricades are up and they are clearing some trees. Anybody know what this is for? Surely they aren't starting on the Northbelt. Is this for the 40 widening? Though where some of the clearing is taking place it doesn't seem to me it would be needed.

Any idea what they are clearing trees for at the main entrance of the Promenade across Chenal?

I noticed last weekend that WT Bubbas was closed due to failure to pay taxes so both upstairs and downstairs are closed. Hopefully it doesn't sit empty too long.
