Ed Cole of the Transit Alliance of Middle TN will be speaking to the AIA Middle TN chapter this afternoon. Topic of discussion is "Late Breaking News on the East-West Connector". I'm assuming it's simply a "where we are" with the BRT.

Good info. The next phase of the Martin Corner developments will be on the 1100 side of Fatherland. I believe the mild construction you see on the 1000 block is for parking purposes.

WW, Do you know anything about the next Martin Corner construction? I've been given the impression that it'll be under construction by the time Tomato Art comes around. Restaurant and retail space, apparently, on the corner where ReMax used to occupy.

Programmatically, I'm predicting a similar sized building that functions much the same way the rendering suggests. MarketStreet has a lot of the pieces to this building figured out already...at least functionally. -

Alex Palmer needs to be careful. That swimming pool will turn into a 'wetlands area' real quick...Then he can't build on it even if he is financially able to.
