  1. yeeehaw

best news Iv heard in a long time

Im just anxious to see renderings of the OPAC.....it will be nice to not have to drive to tampa to see certain shows

so when can we expect to start seeing construction............also in regards to the church, they already have an arangement with the OPAC to give them the land in exchange for space in the new office buildings, no?

  2. I just watched news 13 update.....said something about magic johnson pledging to make orlando one of his top priorities and targets for investment and what not if this deal goes through.......any one know more about this?

and who is down to combine our collective assets to donate money to the OPAC in hopes of getting something named after us.....how was the Urban Planet Orlando chapter courtyard sound?

  3. wow

    what a rollar coaster ride

and it all comes down to this....the suspense is killing me

if this thing passes, I vote for celebration beer downtown

and just a random thought, in regards to a defining feature, wouldnt it be neat to have an obelisk in front of the OPAC as romans often did with their ancient theatres......just a random thought i figured Id throw out there

gah, and the streaming is not working for me, can anyone update occasionally whats going on in there....on here

Plans are in the works by the Great Wheel Corp to bring a 400 foot tall giant wheel to Orlando by late 2009. The wheel will hold 960 guests at once in enclosed air conditioned pods and take 30 minutes to complete a single rotation. The location is said to be on a piece of land connected to the convention center by a bridge over the Beachline Expressway, which puts it near SeaWorld as well if it

  5. hey cody, did you get the iPhone too?

the iPhone Picture quality is fantastic, i actually just took a couple pictures with mine, I'll be posting it here ina second......but in regards to the picture, I really like the perspective you got there

    good form mate

  6. all the same, i would be thrilled to have a ski orlando

something like that could really do a lot to help our tourist industry grow in exciting new directions and help insure more and more people come to orlando

and im sure witha structure like blue rose they would do something to make it aesthetically pleasing

the sinbad area will probably be converted into the forbidden forest, and my guess they will have a car chase sorta thing in there, considering Universal did win the rights to the Kuka robotic arm tech. a few weeks back http://www.technovelgy.com/graphics/conten...er-g2-track.jpg

just seems to make sense, and im 95% sure, they will use the arm in same way involving harry potter

and from what I heard, the flying unicorn will become the flying hippogriff, and last time i was at universal, they were stopping people at the stain glass window movie thing in the queue for dueling dragons, perhaps testing the timing for a new theme for the ride, which might be the triwizard tournament

  8. hmmmm

though im happy with the latest anouncement, i cant say im pleased with them slatting the OPAC to be the last of the three to get built.....being as its the most viable with a coulld chunk of the money comming from private donors

furthermore hadnt they said they wanted the open to be by 2009 or 10 or something like that?
