  1. Downtown UCF and creative village and a sneak peak from a brewery that may or may not be U/C down the block
  2. This has been one of the most interesting reads and historical delineation on here in a while. Great stuff everyone. I was a kid during the heyday of church street so my memories are exactly of that.... perhaps why I always think of it so fondly and want to see the preservation of it Does anyone else remember that ridiculous train Perlman had on the track at church street? I also remember club Paris and that obnoxious dog statue out front of the ballroom. Perhaps the reason why I’m more ok with seeing that part of Orlando “history” go
  3. Starting to make a noticeable impact. Also not sure what was awkwardly swinging from the crane but it did not inspire confidence from the crane operator.
  4. From Orlando city stadium looking north torwards CV
  5. From a couple days ago loving this more and more
  6. Obligatory sunday farmers market update
  7. Took this picture from the 7-11. The people who hangout there are mostly curtious and harmless but I wonder if that will have an effect on people looking to move in here at all. It’s part of downtown living, so this is more of just an open question. Building is is shaping up to be more attractive than I thought it was going to be
  8. Just a random picture Looks like it may be going vertical very soo
  9. Not sure what all is U/C but a ton of dirt being turned in the area. Also got a couple tips about more UCF movement in the area to be happeninf soon. Looks like all systems go. Would like to see this as the catalyst in the area
  10. Pouring lots of concrete. Thing is moving quick. I'd imagine another floor or two and it will start making a visual impact from Elola
  11. I can't give away too much but one could say you are on the right track. Orlando city has been working really hard and very closely with us which will make this year and coming years very special and meaningful. So much the last couple years involved them having their hands tied being a ten ent of another stadium... those hands are no longer tied. There is a ton of work and logistics that go into game day operations from the supporter section end, and the front office has been amazing helping us out and working with us. Also a coupe really amazing special things are in the works... not everything unfortunately though will be done by opening match. I'll post more about it as I can
  12. I was there today with ruckus setting things up for gameday. Some special things are in the works also so one more shot
  13. Got to attend the ribbon cutting today. The stadium is simply gorgeous. Also a couple gameday surprise I can't say yet. But opening match will be truly special!
  14. Racing toward the finish line. Crews working 24/7. They are testing the video board tonight. They are going to somehow pull this off it looks like. Very excited ! Also if people are looking for lots for GameDay still my friend at Brokenness cauldron brewery next to the stadium has some spots still available.
  15. Correct. Rent is the big thing. anything that is somewhat reasonable gets snatched up quick. I was lucky to get my place at 1300 a month . The appeal of living downtown or in the urban core is there, especially for melinials.
