that would really make no sense at all to return the investments to the owners people would be to take away the entire financial bases of this project, thus cutting off its legs sending this entire thing into serious debt or so it would seem sounds to me like wild rumor
  5. oh fully understand compensation however, I think I remember reading some where that he was asking for a lot lot lot more than relocation assistance if you watch or read any of the interviews with this guy, he really does give off the attitude that he is trying to get as much out of this as possible
  6. hahahaha he isnt upset about this at all looks like he is using this opportunity to its fullest, trying to leech and milk off the system get them out and lets this this rolling!
  7. hmmm could lack of style and desire to give us something different in order to set the bar, lead to a rather ostentatious building? when do you think we can realistically expect to see some renderings

  10. just curious.....if we were to ever get an NFL team, would we have to undergo yet another stadium renovation, or would "up to standards" be adequate enough for the NFL?
  11. yeeehaw best news Iv heard in a long time Im just anxious to see renderings of the OPAC.....it will be nice to not have to drive to tampa to see certain shows so when can we expect to start seeing construction............also in regards to the church, they already have an arangement with the OPAC to give them the land in exchange for space in the new office buildings, no?

  13. I just watched news 13 update.....said something about magic johnson pledging to make orlando one of his top priorities and targets for investment and what not if this deal goes through.......any one know more about this? and who is down to combine our collective assets to donate money to the OPAC in hopes of getting something named after us.....how was the Urban Planet Orlando chapter courtyard sound?
  14. I thought the PAC total was at 80 mil? and one of the sites said the construction trigger was 110.....wasnt it 100 million to start?
  15. wow what a rollar coaster ride and it all comes down to this....the suspense is killing me if this thing passes, I vote for celebration beer downtown and just a random thought, in regards to a defining feature, wouldnt it be neat to have an obelisk in front of the OPAC as romans often did with their ancient theatres......just a random thought i figured Id throw out there gah, and the streaming is not working for me, can anyone update occasionally whats going on in there....on here

  19. http://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/stories.../02/story3.html Plans are in the works by the Great Wheel Corp to bring a 400 foot tall giant wheel to Orlando by late 2009. The wheel will hold 960 guests at once in enclosed air conditioned pods and take 30 minutes to complete a single rotation. The location is said to be on a piece of land connected to the convention center by a bridge over the Beachline Expressway, which puts it near SeaWorld as well if it
