  1. Actually 250 sf per person is the norm for office. Or less really, depending on if the company is something like a call center that is mostly cubes. That 250 sf per person includes all common areas as well as office. I wouldn't put too much stock in those rumors...there is almost always some large corporation scanning the east coast. Great to hear that there is interest of course, but too early to get too excited.
  2. Will Weaver has some great shots on Flickr, and the link below is to his set of pictures regarding the panorama Flack referenced. RIC Airport Banner photo set
  3. Thanks guys, I did take them, although Mike is a good photographer as well. The boat landing is around the Curles Neck area, just off Route 5. Actually Kingsland, which I think turns into Osborne. I got some pictures of great blue herons and more ospreys as well, but the eagles are great to photograph. We went under the Varina Enon bridge, so I took some pictures of that from the river. I'll try to post those later.
  4. Here are a few pictures from early yesterday morning on the James. Lots of eagles... If you ever want to see them this close, call Mike at Discover the James. He knows where all of the eagles nest and is great at bringing them in close.
  5. Thanks Burt. The skyline pic was taken January 9th of this year. Williams Mullen Center is hidden behind the Omni and the James Center in this particular view.
  6. Here are a few I took of MovieLand the other night. I can't remember if I've posted this skyline shot before. One last picture - the Liberty replica statue in Church Hill.
  7. Great choice! I got the same camera about 3 months ago. I finally picked up a telephoto lens over the weekend, so I'm anxious to go test that out.
  8. I bought my tickets to the Grand Opening yesterday! Great pics TBurban.
  9. Burt's posts are always packed with good info - easy to overlook one nugget.
  10. Scroll on up. Burt mentions that it will be on the same block as Sine where the salon was located.
  11. Good - it needs changes. I went there once and had very poor experience. The manager said she would send me gift certificates to get me to come back. They never materialized. Once it changes hands I'll give it another shot.
  12. Call me a pessimist - but I don't have a lot of faith that the city will get the cover built for the pedestrian bridge very quickly. Hopefully I am wrong. I must have just missed the concrete fall. I was on Belle Isle until about 4pm Saturday.
