Whatever they do on Lower Broadway, I just hope they add a Barney’s New York, a Bergdorf Goodman’s, and Fendi.

In the City Paper today: http://nashvillepost.com/blogs/postbusiness/2013/7/10/midtown_shell_to_be_razed_rebuilt "Of note, Alex S. Palmer & Company is undertaking its West End Summit project on land fronting West End Avenue and located across 17th from the station. Palmer & Co. officials are on record as saying they are searching for a site near WES and on which they can develop another office building." Can they get WES going first before they start another project. LOL!!!

I will be ecstatic when I see the new renderings and actually see some concrete poured on site. I can't wait to see if there's going to be a Barney's New York or a Bergdorf Goodman's added as the retail components. LOVE IT!

"I understand the deal about cutting some costs...but wouldn't 40,000 sq ft of retail provide a good bit of rent for the building?" I was thinking the exact same thing. I would have loved to be able to shop and dine there. I was hoping for sidewalk dinning where I could look fabulous in my Jackie Onassis sun glasses and people watching while sipping on a bucket of wine.

Exciting. I'm not sure where this is located, but looks amazing. Retail included. Shopping Weeeeeeeee. I can only hope that Armani and Versace are included in the retail portion.

Why not build one 60 story tower that includes the office and hotel components into one building? The second tower could be a Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Barney's New York, and a Bergdorf Goodman’s.

I love high fashion. I guess you're wondering why I am on this forum. Well, my back ground is civil engineering and architecture. After I finished my B.S. in Civil Engineering, I went to Architecture school and got a second B.S. instead of going to grad school. I don't work in either field. I'm in the music industry, which is why I'm in Nashville. At any rate, I enjoy reading about the latest projects. -

I would love to see a Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales integrated into the new baseball stadium development. -
I am very excited to hear this project will finally move forward. This has always been my favorite project and it's the perfect location for these buildings. I really hope they don't change the design.
