  2. Hey guys just letting you know about a new store in the Argenta Main Street area that I opened called States of Mind Clothing. We are located in the old Starving Artist space.
  3. It looks like a project called Southvillage is coming to 1301 S Lousiana, which would be the parking lot behind the old Juanitas.. Anyone have any information on this? I googled it to no avail. Just saw it filed on the plumbing permit site.
  4. Look for Dugan's Pub to open on or very near October 1st...
  5. I have a confirmed tenant for the Rivermarket tower. Dugan's Pub will open in the corner of the main building at 3rd and rock. Will be an authentic irish pub, with a patio wrapping around on 3rd and rock streets. stage for live bands, with many, many tv's....
  6. copelands is def. coming. you can look up copelands on yellowbook.com and it will pull up the address and a phone number for the shackleford store
  7. It is going to replace the location occupied by The Walking Company, it is going to open on Feb. 26th. It will be one of their mid tier stores because the company seems to believe their isnt that much money here, although i tried to tell them otherwise. they are also considering a location at Chenal and possibly McCain, more likely North Hills. they want to have 2 or 3 stores in the metro. avg price points are $80 up to $500. LR store will prob. top out around $250
  8. Aldo is coming to Park Plaza per their recruiter
  9. another park plaza store adding a second little rock location, Limited Too. nothing to be too excited about but once again at least its not At&T
  10. Ann taylor loft, Journeys, Finish Line, and American Eagle are now on the plumbing site so they are confirmed for the Promenade now. Anyone heard of any DEF. confirmations?
  11. also Rack Room Shoes in now on the plumbing review page
  12. The Mcdonalds is now open on the alcoa exit. its going to be open 24 hrs.
  13. yeah the one in hot springs opens at the end of march. a good edition to the Hot Springs Mall. now if they would only just build a new mall or SERIOUSLY remodel the current one Hot Springs could become a destination for shopping as well.
  14. This actually was a former tenant that was on the 2nd floor across from abercrombie and fitch. lane bryant occupies that space now. This store actually closed very suddenly last year. I was the manager of Journeys at the time and i remember they found out on a friday and they had to be out of the space by sunday. i guess they came up with a better lease agreement with the mall. i think theres only 2 or 3 non-food spaces left in the mall so hopefully well get some tenants weve actually Not had before. oh to asnwer your question its probably considered Mid-tier, they have a higher end store called Arden B. that i think has been confirmed for Pinnacle Promenade.
  15. Well for your wife UAMS would by far be her best option in the state if for no other reason than she can get her Bachelors in Nursing and in my search for a Urban Planning school i'm mainly focused on school's located in urban areas for the reasons you stated... mostly more opportunities. but im sure U of A offers a great education as well
  16. Im not sure if i missed this somewhere but i was looking at the Arkanas Plumbing review site and i noticed that Wet Seal was approved for Park Plaza space #3008 i believe thats the old Bombay/Brookstone space. I just thought this was worth mentioning because my wife complains all the time about the lack of a Wet Seal in LR. I also called the mall and did confirm this.
  17. Ive got a question for everyone. If you've ever been to downtown conway you know that its got a lot of charm but its very underdeveloped. Id just like to hear from some other people on what you think could kickstart that area aside from Mike's Place and Michelangelo's and the obvious boon that a wet county would provide. My idea would be to try to convince Barnes and Nobles to locate somewhere downtown. possibly on the road heading towards Hendrix. I think a presence like Band N would cause explosive growth but thats just me. I hope to hear some other ideas. thanks. Lets Start A Petetion To Make Faulkner County WET!
  18. I live in Conway, Ar attending UCA. orginally from Jessieville outside of Hot Springs Village. Next year im going to start on my Masters in Urban Planning and hopefully ill be able to get on of these inside jobs where i can tell you guys whats going on. I love this site and I LOVE Arkansas!
