The Sentinel is up with a story comparing candidate Phil Diamond with Mayor Buddy. It's a strong story and highlights the differences in the city vs. county electorates. Good job, I think, by reporter Mark Schlueb (especially given the Sentinel's bench strength has been so decimated by budget cuts lately).

It would be hard (for me) to vote against Dyer given his efforts to revitalize downtown, and his proven record in making things happen in this town.

I agree with prahaboheme. I might be biased because I mostly read about Dyer and his revitalization efforts on here, but as a (hopefully someday) urban planner that's the kind of leader I look for. That and his very effective Parramore Kidz Zone. He knows how to get things done.
