Company Backs Out Of Bearinger Building Sale

Building Auctioned Off For $110,000 In May

SAGINAW, Mich. -- A company that reportedly bought the Bearinger Fireproof Building in Saginaw has backed out of the deal.

A man from Washington, D.C., bid $110,000 for the building via telephone when it went up for action in May by the Beth Rose Auction Co.

Now the company has retracted the offer and buyers are once again taking a look at the 119-year-old building that has sat vacant since 2008.

No reason was given by the company for its' decision not to go through with the purchase of the property.

The six-story building most recently housed the Dawn of a New Day coffee house, Morgan’s Shoe Repair and Fitzpatrick Tax Service.

So, any interested investors??? I've got the ideas for renovation if you got the cash!
