That's a beautiful shot, with the umbrellas in the Powell/Market Street Plaza; it not only has a lot of atmosphere, but is interesting geometrically as well. The circle the six umbrellas form, embraced by a larger curve of the cable car cafe, and the unexpected diagonal of the escalators. I just noticed, there's not a single person in sight...

thanks...there is one person in sight, the cafe worker. He's hardly visible due to some "darkening" on my part...no people? or hardly any people not visible is sometimes a sacred relief "here". This was taken at daybreak when the City is very serene...

The picture of the blue spiral and (I think it is) the Harvey Milk/Eureka Valley Library is absolutely stunning!

Also, the right part of the first photo is very beautiful and melancholy and joyful all at the same time. It's simplicity itself, but it also tells a story, because it makes one wonder, where is this skylight? In an apartment? In a public building? Who is the person looking up into the sky? Is it myself?

...that explains my week! the skylight is in a house...my BF's house which was joyful and melancholy as usual...i think i'm more in love with the dog.

...a generous thought I've not considered. Then I am much more kinder to "our dog" than the BF........................during my jog this morning I found one of your paintings hanging in the lobby of the City of Refuge down on Howard Street...Afterwards I went up to Starbucks in Hotel Nikko off Union Square and discovered everything was free (coffee & tea & my banana...though the clerk didn't let the woman behind me get a free banana for some reason) because the computers were down, and they couldn't work the cash registers...Then the already long line seemed to increase...Otherwise the day has started out swell & they're now playing one of my favorite of holiday tunes a "Charlie Brown Christmas: Christmas Time is Here..."

The last three photos are absolutely stunning. The last almost looks like a stained glass window in a church. In the third before last, it almost looks like golden rain coming from the chandeliers, or a waterfall or fountain. Can't wait to see more!
