City of Anderson revitalization

I have recieved word that the city is quickly moving on with plans to demolish approximately 25 delapidated homes in and around the downtown area. Props to the city on their effort to cleanup the area and promote new growth and developement.

Is this across the city or a specific area targeted for renewal?

Sounds like its in the vicinity of downtown. It would be cool to see the lists on a map.

The work is being done citywide, however, I would say it is focusing on the south side of the city. There is a list of houses but it is not for public release yet.

Yes, way to go city of Anderson and in particular the Roberts administration for doing something that is substantive, but will not provide a great "groundbreaking photo op" to be remembered in perpetuity.
