Those buildings are:

Deco tower - the Sinclair Building (probably, unless you mean the Texas & Pacific building). Built in 1930. Today, fully restored, offices with ground floor retail. Current retail tenants are Subway, Picchi Pacchi (Italian restaurant), a cigar store, and Shelton's Barber Shop (my favorite barber).

The Beaux Arts building is the W. T. Waggoner Building from 1919. Today, it's fully restored, and the headquarters of XTO Energy, who also owns and has/is restoring several more historic buildings in downtown.

The building with the angels is the Nancy Lee & Perry R. Bass Performance Hall, built in - seriously - 1998. A grand performance hall with great acoustics and lovely French Deco-y architecture.

The flatiron is, well, the Flatiron Building, built in 1907 as an office building. Today, it's fully restored and is now a condo building.

Very impressive pics from Fort Worth! Thanks for posting! All the comments above are well said and totally agreed! Unique water features. Great variety! The Barnes & Noble and Cinema blend well into the urban fabric.

It's been years since I've been to Fort Worth, but there is a certain mystique that Dallas lacks. Maybe I felt like on was on the edge of the "Wild West"...esp. Western Hills

^To answer the above question? Is the area north of downtown called The Stockyards??
