The creator of this video caught an active and vibrant street scene in downtown and Southend two months ago!

Touring international guests around today they LOVED the Sullenberger Museum even after flying from South Africa and they are flying back in a few days.  Loved our uptown their daughters said it looked like New York City which they had been there on this trip.  First impressions of the Queen City are so beautiful.  Green clean etc.  Stopped by Bryant Park the Charlotte version for a quick view and parked at Ally Bank Center for quick walkabout in lower Uptown.

Great pics and glad everyone loved the city... But did you say   "..lower Uptown" ?

Let's see who can guess the tower under construction?   I had to really think about it and finally cheated and looked it up thinking it was something else.   Many many towers missing!

Hand to Bob I was thinking Interstate but said Carillon.

Yes I meant to say it basically the south end of uptown but not really Southend but the area around Legacy, Ally, Mint etc. I would consider upper uptown around North Tryon.

My customized international tours of the city they want a Nascar experience off to the Charlotte Motor Speedway we went.  Family from Phoenix on the tour too along with my family of South Africans.   Then into Charlotte again stops for skyline view from Camp North End (which they really liked too) then to South End too.  They thought Charlotte was booming and of course it is. 

Things seen on my tour today.  Plus some American shopping too.

Photos from a South African tourist to the Charlotte area.  He wondered why it was called the Line until he saw the light rail line.
