What is this tower under construction in Charlotte?

I am sure that this building is much beyond this stage now, because I took this photograph back in September of 2006. I was browsing through old photos that I took that day in Charlotte (many) and wondering what this was and what is its current status?

Sorry, not alot to go on, but this was the only photo I got of it. If it helps, we were heading east I think when I took this photo. Maybe southeast - it was about 9am-10am in the morning.

I agree concerning the Vue currently being the only condo tower with the potential to become an icon of sorts.
