The Senate Finance Committee approved a $243,999 sales-tax exemption for the $100-million indoor water park and hotel complex proposed for the West Warwick Business Park.

Senate fiscal adviser Russell C. Dannecker said the legislation is written so that the exemption will be covered by the additional income taxes the water park

Nothing happenning yet at site of waterpark. IF they break ground this spring it will be two years before it is ready according to their website.

Town will have to do a better job of maintaining the road into the business park with the increased traffic. And cut the grass more than twice a year and use salt when it snows.

I will believe this when I jump into the pool.
