I'm new to this forum. I usually post at SkyscraperCity but that site has been down for a couple days.

Three photographs from November 11, 2006 showing the steady progress on CenterCourt and the surrounding area. The parking garage is being constructed in the rear currently.

1. CenterCourt

2. What was once a dead street is coming back to life. South Hill Station is on the immediate left, followed by South Hill Lofts behind that. To the right is Center Court, and in the far back right at the next major street will be Shelbourne Plaza.

3. This area needs redeveloped! CenterCourt at left.

1. Nunn Building lofts. The old Nunn Building is being renovated into lofts. An attached structure with an underground parking garage is being built adjacent.

Nice Photos. CenterCourt is quite the addition to that part of town. It caps off the vista looking down Euclid quite dramatically. They really did a great job with that. As far as redevelopment nearby, I don't think Kennedy's is going anywhere, but Fazoli's could definitely be razed for all I care. That church across the street is for sale, or at least it was, for $1 million dollars, so I'd gather something fairly significant would go in its place.

I'll try to get some pictures of Shelbourne Plaza as it gets developed. Right now it looks like a gravel pit.

Is it just me or is the For Sale sign gone for the church lot along Upper across from CenterCourt?

Also, the entire block for sale across from Shelbourne had a For Sale sign but its no longer there either, IIRC.

I believe i saw a plan for the "entire city block" site on the active plans. If i remember right it was a 6 story mixed use proposal under the heading "Mark Acre Properties.

I hope something nice goes up at the old church!

nice pics! i have been looking for more photos of lexington now that my girlfriend has decided to go to UK dental school. does anyone have any more pics? i will be visiting in 2 weeks and i'll be taking my camera. i'm sure i'll take tons of pics while we're scouting out a place for her to live.

You have to get a picture of that nondescript beige building going up across from 5/3 Center (on Vine and Mill) and the "Now Hiring Architects" sign hanging on the construction fence. It makes me laugh every time I see the banner in front of that hideous "straight-from-the-suburbs" office tower.

That ??? building is Miller Hall. It houses undergraduate / undeclared advising offices. (The mother-in-law works there.)
