Florida Marlins to play exhibition game in

This will only add the excitement of opening the stadium in 2005. As far as I can remember, I don't think a major league team has played an exhibition game in Greensboro unless it was decades ago at War Memorial Stadium. The Greensboro Bats are one of the Marlin's minor league affiliates and the Bats will renew their contract with them. The Yankees dumped the Greensboro Bats because they thought we would never get a new stadium and I'll bet now they wish they would have never dumped us. The Marlins game should be a sold out game because you have the excitement of a brand new downtown ballpark and you get to watch Major League World Series Champions play there.
