ok, so this might be totally off base for me to be posting here, but i went to see phil lesh and friends last night at lupos (for those of you who don't know, he's the bassist from the grateful dead, basically they're the best dead cover band around). so while i was there, there was this guy sitting in the middle of the room who looked just like the governor. i mean he looked exactly like carcieri, right down to the clothes he was wearing. i compared my mental image from last night with his pic on his website. i'm 99% sure it's the same guy.

anyone know if he's a deadhead? if it was him, that's perhaps an awesome way to get in with the people (especially the liberally minded).

If it was him, you would have seen his state police escort somewhere within spitting distance...

could it have been a plain clothes cop? if that's the case, it could've been any number of guys who seemed "out of place" at the show that were standing around him.

I highly doubt it unless the governor was trying really, really hard not to be noticed... Anytime I've seen him in public, he always has a fully uniformed Statie nearby...

considering the crowd, i wonder if he just went without his escort to have a good time... there were security people in the place. it's a hippie type band, i think you know the kind of stuff that was going on in there... :whistling:

If the gov was at Phil and friends i would be a little suspect of the agenda follwing his little trip to lupo's. That show in particular has a way altering one's mind--- Who knows---- That would kinda funny if it were the case.
