Unless you consider a view of huge mountainside subdivisions a great view, Black Mountain won't be growing while preserving its great views. Maybe in fifty years when the spindly little saplings the developer plants mature, but certainly not until then. Until then, it's a great view of chockablock McMansions.

I am sure Black Mountain wants to grow while maintaining its great views. A logical idea I would like to see is some sort of verticle expansion with some midrises in the central business district.
