Hotels coming to 540 & Capital Intersection

We all new it was coming and here it is. The Daly group is planning to open a 5 Story Hilton Garden inn at at the site of 6412 Capital Blvd. And after that is supposed to open an additional hotel in the immediate vicinity. They want to cater to the growing north Raleigh Market which has done exceedingly well especially since the addition of Triangle Towne Center. Also the Land for the new Circuit City, BJ's and On the border is being cleared at a good rate. Expect the boom to continue in northern Wake as 540's new leg opens to 401 next spring.

I personally was hoping for another big box store there, maybe one that's a few miles down Capital Blvd that could relocate to that intersection would be nice!
