Not just more retail, but a variety of retail.

Let's see what I can come up with.

1) Innovista being developed ahead of schedule

2) A new non-boxy 400'-450' tower downtown (NOT on Main)

3) A city-county consolidation

4) Streetscapings completed

5) Renovating/overhauling facades and signs on Main

6) Some development along Pulaski

7) Get the Greenway finished

8) Downtown retail

9) A downtown movie theatre

10) Bull Street project moving ahead with housing available for all income levels

2. I would love to see a retirement community in City Center so they can have an active lifestyle and walk around downtown.

3. More residential fill all around the CBD and Vista Area

4. Some botique stores to start to open on Main

5. Some nice plans to renovate and find good uses for two landmarks.

- Arcade Mall

6. I first class condo project to be announced either in city center or Vista. Not worried about height just a project that is cool looking and cool ammenities.

7. Resolve the Homeless issue

8. Announcement of another attraction that could help bring in tourism.

9. Streetscaping to be completed in 5 pts and Lady. It seems to have been years

10. City to create a vision that supports residential, retail and transportation all around the downtown area.

As someone wishing to be in Columbia before too long, I would like to see:

1. Canalside progress.

2. A decision to put the NE ballpard downtown somehere instead of in the burbs.

3. A 400' or more office tower announced,

4. An arts district developing.

5. Innovista making much progress this year.

6. Bull Street project.

7. A couple more good art galeries. My favorite now is City Art.

8. More diverse retail downtown.

9. A 450'- 500' tower announced.

10. The interchange at I-20, I-126, I-26 redesinged.

A 1,500 foot building in Columbia for no other reason than to shock and awe everyone on this forum having all of us spitting, sputtering, asking why, etc. Yeah it would look so out of place (like a telephone pole next to some fence posts) but what a shock effect it would have.

Seriously, a 450-500 foot would be just what is needed there.
