I still don't think they needed to destroy nearly all of the Ambassador. A school can be built almost anywhere. Eliminating history in favor of an expedient, cheap building is not the way to go. They say that they went out of their way to save fragments of the Ambassador... Even total reconstruction would not have been onerously expensive. The Ambassador was essentially a simple building. What, if anything, is left of the Cocoanut Grove?
