I am just curious:

I have noticed that there are no advertisenments in this forum. I know that most online services survive with advertisenments. How do you finance, then, UP?

I read somewhere that Neo foots the bill for this place. He must pay for keeping the advertising off, too.

It costs a little more to keep the advertising off sites like this, but it is worth it.

UP is financed through advertising. It does require a bit of money to keep a site like this up and running smoothly but this site is 100% self supportive now. When we were SSA and in the beginning of UP I footed the bill but the site has grown to be self supportive.

Our ads are fine. I'm so glad we don't have fugly popups or banners. How tacky....
