I’ve lived in California for over ten years now (hard to believe) and I still get a kick out of spotting a Steelcase truck out here.

I believe it's one of the largest butterfly blooms in the country. The Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha opened a butterfly exhibit in one of their zoo renovations 3 or 4 years ago, but it's only 1/3 to 1/2

YOu need to be over the age of 50 to attend. No need to bring your hearing aid with you, I am sure it will be loud enough. Just kidding.

I don't know about the first part, because I got a long way to go to hit 50. But you're right about the second part. Pete and Roger can still rock.

This is one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I can't talk today, my voice is shot from yelling. :)

Congrats on the early birthday Veloise :)

You guys I have to say, In all my years living in Grand Rapids, I always hoped wished and cheered as it made it's little progresses here and there. But i'm simply beside myself with everything changing and everything going up everywhere there. It's dramatic how much money is being pumped into that city right now. As luck would have it, it hits full stride right as I leave that damn place though. Anyway i'm so excited for my next visit, and gasp when I get to move back home :)

I'll second that. Although I have not lived in GR for 5 years, I do return for long weekends every couple of months to visit an ailing parent and put in a few hours volunteering at a local house museum. Each time I'm in town I drive through a different area of the metro to see what's new, and am always amazed at the changes. I just wish there would be more brownfield redevelopment and less greenfield destruction.
