Vicksburg

Since the old thread was archived I am reviving this thread.  first visit ever downtown and I must say I was impressed.  For a town of 20,000 people in a county of less than 50,000 there was lot ts going on downtown.  I counted at least 4 apartment buildings converted from offices or some other use.   Rooftop restaurant where I ate 10 South atop the First National Bank Bldg which is now lofts apartments on the other floors.  Lots of shops and several restaurants and a brewery downtown and for an autumn night it was active.  There are a couple of other buildings that can use a redevelopment but the downtown is well on its way.

Sorry some photos are repeated.  also noted downtown Vicksburg is a social district or a place where you can take alcohol from some businesses to the streets during certain times of the day.
