after looking at this for precisely 2 minutes I have just one comment.....

OK, that can be addicting

 

my house is all alone surrounded by farms.  crazyness.  and it was already 119 years old at the time.

 

Downtown is crazy too. 

 

Its especially interesting to see all of the wetlands.  there were a huige number of wetlands around the CT river (there still are) but it give better context to the flood control issues of the past.

 

also, go to a place like West Hartford where we know it as fairly historic town and know it to be fully developed... the ammount of undeveloped land it really amusing to me...

 

another interesting one is Rocky Hill...

not a damn house anywhere

 

lastly I reccomend taking the labels off on the modern side so you get a better view of the changes.
