  1. I doubt metro had anything to do with location decision. There are so many companies that aren't near metro or public transportation. Look at the huge AOL campus, the mega Verizon campus, Orbital Science complex, Airbus and the Howard Hugh Medical Research center.
  2. The huge complex across from the huge Fairfax Hospital complex is the HQ for ExxonMobile Refinery Division. My house is walking distance to this site. Lots of ongoing development in this area - Merrifield
  3. For now, the plan is to redo the area around Tyson Center and Tysons Galleria which also has been approved to add 8 additional buildings to what has already been approved previously. The whole area is being replanned to make Tysons more urban like. This is only a small part of Tysons.
  4. Those buildings are condominium. They're called Midtown Reston and KSI is the developer. There will be a total of 6 towers when completed. Two of the towers have already been sold. Starting price for each unit is $500
  5. All, I would like to thank you for the great comments. After looking through the website, I've come to a conclusion. This looks like a typical urbanism community. We have plenty of those type of community in Northern VA. I need something more urban and without breaking the bank. Any recommendations? Hip areas, up and coming, lots of culture, open minded. Am looking for a town home or condo. Thanks again, Logan
  6. Hi, I am new to this forum and plan to relocate to Charlotte sometime next year. I am in the process of purchasing a town home in the town of Ayrsley. According to their webpage, it is described as an urban enclave where I could walk to shops.. etc. etc. I don't know much about the area and would like someone to enlighten me. Is Ayrsley a good place to live and how urban is it? Comments are appreciated. Thank you LoganVA
