  1. Thanks for the heads-up Jarvis. A direct to BOS from "said city" would be awesome for me. With a Direct to LGA currently, and a future (hopefully) direct to BOS, that covers most of my travels. Now if we could only get a direct to Zurich.
  2. Nice shots RT! I may have mentioned it to you on your flickr page, I can't remember. The Trattoria Giorgio photo won second place in the Trading Faces show. I was never a big fan of that photo because of the van in the foreground. In fact I halfheartedly submitted it to the show thinking it would never even get accepted. I guess that shows what I know about photography.
  3. Well put Spartan, this is generally how I feel about it. This does not have any effect on my life, my marriage, or any other part of my life. Why should I have the right to place restrictions on those who have a legitimate argument and a real reason to want "marriages" recognized for legal, financial and other reasons. I feel that those who are using the religious argument are trying to force their values on others and have no right to do so. To me this is a dangerous mix of religion and government. Great to hear from you again gsupstate.
  4. If any of you are interested, Michelin and the CVB are looking for photos for the upstate visitor's guide. Click here for details.
  5. Thanks RT, I didn't notice the spaces there.
  6. Hi all, anyone know where the closest parking to Rock Quarry Park is? I'm taking some portraits tomorrow and I don't think walking shoes are in order for the subjects. Thanks.

Its absolutely kept me in the loop and in love with Greenville. Its funny, if anyone at work has a question about Greenville, they come ask me.
  8. Great skyline shot RT. Is this from the Rose garden?
  9. Great stuff guys! RT, those are fabulous shots. Beowulf, unbelievable colors!
  10. Went to Verdae Marketplace today and noticed that the building closest to Verdae Blvd has been demolished. Anyone know what's up with that?
  11. Great shots as usual RT! You can't hide much in a clear blue sky. Photoshop's spot repair will clean that right up.
  12. Nice one RT! I don't see it that busy in there very often. Was that during Fall for Greenville?
  13. Nice shots everyone! I like this one Skyliner. Bravo!
  14. Thanks guys. Yes RT, that's my EF-S 10-22 lens, I love it! 90% of the shots I take are with that lens. Good move on the external HD. It is pretty amazing how quickly you can fill up a hard drive. I shoot almost everything in RAW unless I know for sure its just a casual shot. I've shot more than 8000 shots, most of them RAW. Hmmm... that works out to about 66,400,000,000 bytes.
  15. Excellent stuff RT & Skyliner. BTW, I did get all my data back, but haven't got the computer up & running yet.
  16. Hey Beowulf, I've backed up my laptop to EHD, but never got around to the desktop. I was a bit too late.
  17. Hi everybody, It's been some time since I've peeked at this thread and I've got to say WOW! You have all stepped it up a few notches. There are some unbelievable photos on here. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to offer today, my desktop had a meltdown and I'm in the middle of recovering data (hopefully). Luckily, I've got all my photos backed up on CD & DVD. I promise to contribute again soon. I've been out of town quite a bit, but I'm taking a class all next week downtown, so I'll keep my camera in the car. Cheers!
